“We need technology to provide our programmes and to do our work. Digital Wings gifting has been used within each programme we have undertaken, and all our volunteer training and Family Violence Champions Training. As we are a non for profit organisation, to reduce costs we have our women’s programme within our office building, however we did not have a projector for our PowerPoint presentations. Having the technology of a data projector to be able to interact with the clients more easily made a big difference for our programmes. We also run Tamariki Programmes for children affected by family violence and again having a projector we are able to but their safety plan drawings up on the big screen so we can discuss makes the programme more interactive and accessible for the children. Digital Wings computer donations impact individuals through communication from our programmes to the community.”
