At Digital Wings we are committed to a clean and thriving Aotearoa New Zealand
Corporate Social Responsibility made easy, with assurance that donated e-waste stays out of landfill with Digital Wings’ Takeback at End-of-Life Policy. Through being involved in the Digital Wings programme, hardware donors can fulfil their Corporate Social Responsibility goals by leaving all the work to us. This is win-win for the private/public and community sectors, and win-win for the NZ economy and environment.
Recent surveys showed our donor partners report 96% high-satisfaction and 4% above-average satisfaction with the service they have received via Digital Wings with our recycling partner RemarkIT Solutions. Likewise, our charity partners report 96% high-satisfaction and 4% above average satisfaction with our gifting service, faults service and takeback service. Our donation partners report the ease and convenience of disposal of their expired equipment through Digital Wings. They simply fill in a form online and the rest is taken care of: pickup, security wiping, reporting, refurbishment and re imaging, dispatch or recycling and disposal. What’s more, after 12 months they receive an update report on how their collective donations have contributed to the recipient communities they have supported via Digital Wings.
We appreciate the support of corporate donors and supporters nationwide who send all their kit to us when they upgrade staff and business computers.

“Thank you so much for sending these reports through – it’s so heart-warming to see what a difference these refurbished devices are doing for so many community organisations! Not to mention, diverting the e-waste from landfill!”
Senior Sustainability Manager Social Impact, Westpac NZ
“Transpower has been a donor of surplus IT equipment to Digital Wings since the latter’s inception. We appreciate the hassle-free process that they offer in terms of collection and reporting on our equipment. Sustainability is an increasingly important feature of our business, and knowing we are finding a way of giving back to communities while also responsibly disposing of our old IT gear is incredibly satisfying to us.”
Stakeholder Engagement Manager, Transpower NZ Ltd.
"Digital Wings is a sustainable option for Z-Energy to recycle its waste whilst also maximising the reuse of decommissioned viable equipment. Digital Wings provides both a sustainable business model for e-waste and also provides a vehicle for businesses to realise their social responsibility goals. It has been a pleasure to build this relationship with Digital Wings and we look forward to working with them in the future.”
